My bike
Here’s my own outfit. It’s an ETZ/Watsonian Mitzi with a perimeter frame. The engine was bored and balanced by Martin at Burwins. There’s a stainless downpipe and silencer. It has a Brembo front brake, Tarozzi fork brace, Hagon shocks and a one-off roll cage by Maitland Racing. The sidecar has a seat belt, and I have a hood and tonneau cover. The battery is a car battery mounted behind the sidecar wheel. The sidecar tail light and indicator is another ETZ tail light, mounted at the same height as the one on the bike.
Unfortunately, more than a year ago, I seized the engine while going not very fast on the M4. I’m embarrassed about this, as it had just been rebuilt, and it was me who set up the carb and oil pump.
Since then I have had various other things to do which is why I have not got round to dropping the engine out. I promise to do it before summer.
